Sweet & Tangy Beef Casserole

Ingredients

1 lb stewing steak
1 onion, chopped
2 dsp tomato puree
1 heaped tsp french mustard
1 pint orange juice
salt & pepper

Brown 1 lb stewing steak with some chopped onion in a pan with a little oil.
Add a couple of dessertspoons of tomato puree and a heaped teaspoon of french mustard - either the brown one or the grainy poupon as you prefer.
Then add 1 pint of water and 1 pint of orange juice (about half a carton), stir and simmer for 2 hours.
Check occasionally and stir/add juice as necessary and season to taste.
Serves 2-3 and is very nice with rice instead of spuds.
You could put carrots and other vegetables in if you like.
