Ingredients

Use the same mug as a measure all the way through.

1 mug mixed fruit
1 mug soft brown sugar
2 mugs s.r. flour
1 mug, unsweetened, black tea
1/2 mug cherries and / or chopped nuts
1 tsp mixed spice (to taste)

Preheat the oven to 190°C or Gas Mark 5.
Stir all ingredients together in a large bowl.
Turn into a loaf tin and bake in oven for approximately ¾ hour.
Turn out of the tin whilst hot.
Delicious served warm with butter.
