Chocolate Bars

Ingredients

125g plain chocolate
1 tblsp golden syrup
125g digestive biscuits, crushed
125g butter
50g raisins/sultanas
50g glacé cherries, chopped

Line a 20cm square cake tin with greaseproof paper.
Melt the chocolate, syrup and butter in a bowl over a pan of simmering water.
Stir well until melted then remove from the heat.
Place the biscuits, raisins/sultanas and cherries into a large bowl.
Mix all the ingredients together then tip the mixture into the cake tin and spread it out.
Put the cake tin into the fridge and leave until set.
Cut into squares before serving.
