Black Forest Bread & Butter Pudding

Ingredients

slices of bread
butter
tin of black cherries
1/2 pint of milk
aprox 3 tbsp caster sugar
3eggs
bar of plain cooking chocolate

Preheat the oven to 190°C or Gas Mark 5.
Line a deep oven proof dish with buttered bread.
Spread a genourous layer of tinned black cherries on top and place more buttered bread on top.
Repeat the bread & cherry layers until dish is about half full, ending with a bread layer.
Whisk together the milk, eggs and sugar and warm gently.
Melt the bar of plain cooking chocolate and stir into the milk mixture.
Pour over the bread and cherries and bake until set.
